Fat First is a dietary supplement containing the naturally occurring soluble fiber alpha-cyclodextrin (patented as FBCx®). As Part 1 of the 3-part "Smart Weigh Kickstart Kit", Fat First has proven to be a vital tool in support of weight management, healthy lipid levels, and glucose tolerance. Alpha-cyclodextrin is a cyclic oligosaccharide with a truncated cone shape that efficiently captures dietary fats within its conical structure. While typical dietary fibers adhere to dietary fat in an approximate 1:1 ratio, the ingredient in Fat First has demonstrated an impressive fat-capturing capability of up to 1:9. Two tablets of Fat First may be taken with meals or snacks three times per day. Each serving of Fat First provides 2 grams of this unique technology, which sequesters up to 18 grams of dietary fat each meal (equal to about 162 calories). When taken as directed, Fat First can prevent the absorption of up to 486 dietary calories per day, enabling those unwanted calories to pass through the digestive tract without being absorbed, subsequently eliminated without unpleasant side effects.
